Lesson 15 ... How To Know If You Are Following Jesus (Matthew 9:9-38)

During our most recent studies, we have witnessed Jesus demonstrating His power over disease, nature, the spirit world and sin. He will continue to show his unlimited power because He is omnipotent, as God ascribed all power in heaven, earth, above and beneath. The miracles we witnessed in these past studies are to authenticate who Jesus is that we can follow Him. If we are following Jesus, we will do the five following things ...

I. Reach the lost (Matthew 9:9-10)

II. Reject self-righteousness (Matthew 9:11-13)

III. Resist legalism (Matthew 9:14-17)

IV. Rely on His miraculous power (Matthew 9:18-34)

V. Remember the need for laborers (Matthew 9:35-38)
